Samsung has announced slider MetroPCS r410. It has a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, built-in VGA camera, speakerphone, voice recognition, IM and e-mail client.
But battery... Battery life is a ridiculous - 2.5 hours

They claim 2.5 talk and 200 hours standby. That's a lot of ^$$@#. I charged it up last night and I am down to one bar this morning. Power hungry lousy phone. Had a Nokia 6255 which was great. Why the hell couldn't Metro PCS just sell us BlackBerrys. I would have been willing to pay full retail PLUS.
I have the r410 fully-charged.
After removing the charger and not using the phone, it battery lost one bar after being on standby for 6 hours. At that rate, I estimate the 3-bar battery will only last 1 day!
It does appear to be a power-hungry phone, or perhaps the battery-type is NOT adequate for the phone.
